Write a 150-250 word essay on this round's theme.

Comp deadline: Nov 1, 2023

Essay theme: My Trip, My Future

A study abroad experience is a life changing one. By immersing yourself in a foreign culture, you learn new and different ways of living. You return home a little more knowledgeable and wiser than before.

How do you hope or expect your study abroad experience might affect your future? Do you imagine the trip will alter your career, or life more broadly? If so, how? What are the potential long-term benefits of studying abroad?

A writing tip here: avoid using too many "I's", "me's" and "my's" in your essay. It's about you but you don't have to write that way.

2023 Competition: Entry Form

Note: It's recommended that you first draft your essay using Word or another text editor. Also, remember the theme: "My trip, my future." But make up your own original title.
